Samantha opposite Pawan Kalyan

Cute actress Samantha will be the heroine in Power Star Pawan Kalyan's proposed new film under the direction of Vishnu Vardhan.

The untitled film is jointly produced by Neelima Nagesh and Shobu Yarlagadda under the banner of Sangamithra Productions. It will commence shooting from February, 2011.

Krish, who directed Gamyam and Vedam, is penning the dialogues. Cinematography is by P.S. Vinod, editing by Sreekar Prasad and music by Yuvanshankar Raja. Arka Media will present the film.

Richagangopadhyay opposite Raviteja in Mirapakaya

Richa Gangopadhyay, who made her debut in Shekar Kammula’s ‘Leader’, has reportedly signed another film. The buzz is that this time, she’s going to act along with Ravi Teja in a new film. The crazy star has recently bagged an offer to feature in a new flick titled ‘Mirapakaya’ with a tagline ‘Veedu Chaala Hot Guru’.

Ravi Teja has signed three films this year, ‘Don Seenu’, ‘Veera’ and another film to be directed by Harish Shankar. Richa Gangopadhyay has reportedly been roped in for this Harish Shankar’s film. Ramesh Puppala is producing the film on ‘Yellow Flowers’ banner. R.R.Movie Maker’s Venkat is presenting the film. Thaman is composing the music.

VARUDU

The crew members of Allu Arjun's forthcoming action movie Varudu will shoot the last song between March 5 and 10 in two specially-erected sets in Annapurna and Rama Naidu Studios under the supervision of director Gunasekhar. The makers are making efforts to release the film on March 26. According to the director, Allu Arjun will be seen in a role that he has never played before. Renowned director Singeetham Sreenivas Rao appears in a special role. Tamil hero Arya plays the villain. The heroine is a new face, but her name is yet to be revealed. Others in the cast are Suhasini, Naresh, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde, Ahuthi Prasad, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji and Vinaya Prasad. Music is by Mani Sharma. Lyrics are penned by Veturi and editing is by Srikar Prasad. R.D. Rajasekhar is handling the camera.

Shreya to act in raviteja's film

Shriya makes come back to Telugu. Since 2005, she didn’t act in any Telugu film in lead role although she did item songs there after in couple of Telugu films. Her last Telugu film where she did the lead role was Bhageeratha opposite Ravi Teja. And five years later, she again comes to Tollywood in Ravi Teja’s current film, Don Seenu. She replaces Trisha, the original heroine in the film. Citing problem of adjusting dates, Trisha opted out from the movie and in place comes Shriya. This is really big comeback for Shriya who virtually has lost foothold in Tollywood.

She is also doing a special song in Pawan Kalyan's Puli. Looks like she's getting busier in Telugu all over again.

Now it is officially declared! It is none other than the news of Sonia Agarwal - Selvaragavan divorce.
Both Sonia and Selvaragavan have filed their papers for divorce based on 'mutual consent' in the family court at Chennai Egmore court campus.

According to sources, the trouble began with the actress and singer Andrea's entry in Aayirathil Oruvan last year. Sonia alleged Selva that he was having an affair with the actress. Sources say that one day during the shooting of the film in Hyderabad, Sonia is reported to have barged into the sets and slapped Andrea in front of the crew.


Close friends and relatives, including Superstar Rajinikanth, tried to save the marriage, but it was too late as the relationship had hit a dead end. Sonia's re-entry as actress in TV shows
and serials made the issue worse and forced them to live separately. Sonia was initially reluctant for a divorce, and tried for patch up. However finally she agreed for a 'divorce by mutual consent'.

Selva had first met Sonia in early 2002, when he signed her for his path breaking Kadhal Kondein, opposite his brother Dhanush. It was her debut film in Tamil and released on July 4, 2003 and went on to become a sensational super hit.

Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group, known for American animation films has entered movie production in Telugu Cinema. The Walt Disney Company India announced a Telugu movie with Siddharth and Shruthi in lead roles.

Disney will partly produce Siddharth, Sruthi Hassan’s fantasy movie which is being directed by Prakash. Siddhartha is playing the super hero in the movie and there is also a 11 kid involved in the story and so the Disney is interested in the movie.Lakshmi Manchu is also playing an important role in the movie. The movie is getting ready to hit screens next year 2011.

Darling

Prabhas-Kajal starrer movie Darling is going be ready by summer in the month of April. Currently this movie shooting is going on in Hyderabad. The talkie part of the film has been completed. Darling movie new posters released on net.

Darling is being directed by Karunakaran who has earlier directed Tholiprema and Ullasanga Utsahanga. It is being produced by Bogavalli Prasad under the banner Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra. This is the first look of Mr Surya as Maddela Cheruvu Suri in the movie of Raktha Charitra.Rakta Charitra is a 4th coming trilingual Indian film written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma, made simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages.

Rakta Charitra is said to depict the life of the slain political leader Paritala Ravindra, played by Vivek Oberoi, with Surya , enacting the role of Maddelacheruvu Suri, Shatrughan Sinha, playing N. T. Rama Rao, Radhika Apte and Priyamani in other pivotal roles.

Nandi Awards 2010 were presented for the movies released in year 2008. Telugu movie industries prestigious awards Nandi awards are to be annunced today in Lakhmi Kala Vedika Hyderabad. Priyamani To Act in Rakta Charitra

Priyamani’s career is really happening. Irrespective of hits and flops, she gets all the good offers right from Manirathnam. After bagging pivotal role in Manirathnam’s trilingual Ashokavanam/Raavan, she has landed in another trilingual Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakta Charitra. She would be playing the role of Gangula Bhanumati, wife of Maddelachervu Suri, being played by Tamil star ‘Ghajini’ Surya. Vivek Oberai plays the role of Paritala Ravi and Bengali actress Radhika Apte is doing his wife's role. Surya plays the role of Vivek's archrival in the movie and he gets Priyamani as his wife. Priyamani who earlier acted with Surya’s brother Karthi in Parudhiveeran is excited about getting the chance to share screen with Surya himself in this film as well as acting in Varma's direction.

Made in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, Rakta Charitra is two-part film - a first time in India - that is scheduled for release this year-end.

Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Junior Mega Star Ram Charan Teja are joining their hands! Confused? Yes, they are joining their hands for a soft drink ad. Mahendra singh dhoni, one of the most wanted cricketers of adworld and Tollywood superstar will be seen in the upcoming Coke commercial.

The Coca-Cola ad will be directed by Tollywood director Trivikram Srinivas. It is said that the commercial is of sixty seconds and both the stars will shoot separately for a portion each and then they will come together to create magic on screen.

Rajahmundry is the town where all this is happening and here is Rajesh, an intelligent young man who specializes in taking and making loans throughout the area. His father (Kasi Vishwanath) is a school teacher. Things take a turn when Shruti (Swetha) lands up at Rajesh’s place due to a dog chase and in this process, she drops a very important chain by mistake. The chain has a connection with dreaded Narendar Shetty (Ajay). What happens from there forms the rest of the story. Telugu Movie Reviews

Shweta Basu looks sweet but there is an alarming rate of weight increase in her, she looks chubby and if she doesn’t cut down on that, then her offers also will get cut.

The film runs on a beaten track and though the thought of the makers is good, it was not executed correctly on the screen. Flaws are evident clearly in the direction and the narrative aspects, even cracks in script and screenplay were observed.

If it was not for Nikhil and his energetic performance, the fate of this venture would have been sealed in less than a week. The technical aspects are weak and the production values are low.
So success at the box office is possible only if Nikhil’s performance can pull in some more crowds.
